No. 6 - The McFaddens

Tarvarus McFadden and Kendrell McFadden are two enormous cornerbacks. But will they be cormerbacks or safeties in college?

There are a handful of big questions heading into The Opening. It begins next Tuesday in Beavertown, Oregon.

The state of Florida leads the way with 27 selections. There are 162 participants in all. Here are ten story lines from the Sunshine state leading into the event.

6. The McFaddens... are they cornerbacks?

Two very large cornerbacks hail from the southern part of the state if Tarvarus McFadden (Plantation American Heritage) and Kendrell McFadden (Miramar). Are they really corners?

Tarvarus is 6-foot-3, 195-pounds.

Kendrell is 6-foot-3, 190-pounds.

If Tarvarus comes to The Opening with the intention of working hard, taking reps and doing the things he's capable of doing then he's going to turn heads and impress. Simply, he has a very unique skill set because of his size and length. I believe he can play the cornerback position and will in college.

I have my reservations about Kendrell [video below #26]. He's an absolute animal at the line of scrimmage. In fact, he may be the top press cornerback in the state. With his size, length and physicality at the line of scrimmage he can just dominate an opponent at the snap of the ball. I mean he eats up receivers. But I was very concerned seeing him play off. He really struggled at the Miami NFTC in that type of coverage.

So a good defensive back story line is how these two big jokers will do playing cornerback at The Opening.
